Do you think humans have a greater value then other animals?

Umm.... no. Since apparently we've evolved from apes. So wouldn't that make us of equal value? Of course then theres the fact that we didn't evolve from apes.... the stupid apes are just smart for some reason. Yeah... but what if apes evolved from US?? Why doesn't anybody think about that? Doesn't that make just a little bit of sense? But if there'd no evolution then the apes couldn't evolve! But what if the evolution is only for humans?
I'm off topic now....

I think we should have the same value but people treat animals as though they aren't equal. Have you ever thought about how it would be like to be a pet? To be treated as an unequal just beause their furry or not as smart or don't speak a set language. I wonder what it would be like to get inside a dogs head and know how they feel. Humans are a type of animal so shouldn't all animals be treated the same?

I agree. It would suck to be a pet, in a way. You'd have to wait to be fed and to go outside and if no one was home all day you'd be seriously lonely =( And just cause animals don't speak doesn't mean that they arn't as smart. I mean, take dolphins, apparently they're alot smarter than humans.
